Great article RE: How to Measure ROI w/Social Media

Filed under: Uncategorized — Ryan Goff @ 4:05 pm

My wife brought this article to my attention (it’s really interesting being married to a librarian, let me tell you!) so I thought I’d share.  It really does a decent job of breaking out how to measure ROI for use with Social Media Campaigns.  Let me know your thoughts!

  1. Thanks for pointing out the article. I tweeted it & said that it had some good points, but it isn’t always this straightforward. For one thing, other variables can really confound the measurements. The article does a good job of going through a way to get to ROI – IF willing to assume all else is equal.

  2. Very interesting, this company http://www.argylesocial.com/ is the one Team Quad mentioned in their presentation. They are a local startup company, and their whole business is quantifying your social media returns.

  3. I know it’s not always so straight forward, but I think this is great. The fact that the we are taking steps to measure returns on social media advertising is very encouraging. Hopefully more and more people will make an effort to do this, and eventually it will become standard practice.
